When a child dies in a family, life as that family knows it is never the same. They learn to cherish the ways in which they can have their special child, brother or sister remembered.
The Compassionate Friends Walk 2 Remember is a symbolic way to show the love we carry for these children. It is an opportunity to connect with other bereaved families and talk freely about your child, brother or sister in a safe, relaxed environment.
The day includes a gentle walk along the Yarra River, reflection times with each person handed a flower to float in the river and a free BBQ lunch.
All family members are welcome so please join us. If you are unable to attend, but would like your child or sibling’s name to be carried, please fill out the details below.
Meeting Point: Cnr Alexander Ave and Anderson St, Melbourne.
Although unable to attend the Walk, I would like my child or sibling’s name to be carried during the walk.
