As we approach the festive season, an anxiety and sadness is often felt. We anticipate an atmosphere of celebration, of family and friends coming together, and hope for the future being celebrated. How will we get by in the midst of it all? A similar anxiety and sadness can be felt as we approach anniversaries, birth dates and other important dates associated with loved ones lost.
In this discussion workshop, we will reflect upon the strategies we have found have helped us get through these difficult dates and seasons.
Where do we find meaning and solace during these times?
The Facilitator: ANDREW WEATHERHEAD was the President of TCFV. He is the bereaved father of MAX and bereaved brother of CAROLINE.
Feel welcome to arrive any time after 2pm to settle in, have a coffee and chat. We will commence the session at 2:30pm sharp.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Topics Around Grief sessions are different from TCFV support group meetings, focussing on a particular topic, rather than “where we are at in our grief”. If you are new to TCFV and the experience of discussing your grief, we highly recommend you first attend group meetings for a period of time, as Topics Around Grief sessions have a singular focus and cannot meet all needs.
For group meeting details, please feel welcome to call us on 9888 4944 / 1300 064 068
